Geostock has been awarded a 1st contract in Vietnam

Geostock has been awarded a contract to undertake a Detailed Feasibility Study of a Liquid Hydrocarbon (crude oil and products) underground storage project in Vietnam following the invitation to tender issued at the end of December 2008 by Petrovietnam Oil Stockpile Company Limited (PVOS).
It is the first underground storage project in Vietnam, with a capacity of 1.2 million tons for the Phase I. It will be located on Long Son Island, close to Vung Tau, the Oil & Gas city of Vietnam, 130 km South-East of Ho Chi Minh City.
The contract, which was signed on 31st March, 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City, covers the following services:
- site exploration program and supervision of investigation works
- Basic engineering design
- preparation of an invitation to tender for an EPC realization.
